SUMMARY OF EXPERENICE
Ms. Yoo has a Masters in Social Work from the University of Michigan. Her areas of concentration in graduate school were family therapy and child welfare. She holds Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Illinois. She also holds Master Addiction Counselor (MAC). As a licensed clinical social worker, Ms. Yoo has a vast experience working with various issues, including substance abuse, which affects children and families. For the past nineteen years, she has been instrumental in the process of ASACS evolution into a more family based program having provided family-centered services, whenever possible, in four different schools and communities. Ms. Yoo utilizes all modalities of treatment such as, individual, group, and family counseling to provide services to adolescents and parents. She is especially effective in working with families with her specialization in family therapy. Prior to her involvement with ASACS, Ms. Yoo had worked in family based programs with substance use being part of the issues, in Detroit, Chicago, and California.

Ms. Yoo is also responsible for providing in-services to teachers, and other relevant agencies. She documents clinical cases, and keeps other program statistics as required by Army regulation and ASACS policy. She is also involved in community wide prevention efforts to include Red Ribbon campaign and others. She represents ASACS at Installation Juvenile Action Committee, Garrison New Comers Orientation, and Health Promotion Committee.

Ms. Yoo also worked in the court system if there was court involvement with particular youth.
